I had surf and turf in a rose' sauce. My wife made love to hers and I hadn't had the rose' sauce before but will again. We had another outstanding meal.
But the food is outstanding and worth the wait. The price is Mountain Fine Dining. You must bring your own wine and there is a corking fee. There is also a credit card fee. The food isn't all that expensive. Equivalent to a nice meal at Olive Garden. A nice meal at Olive Garden is a stretch but we are comparing price not food.
This is the 6th time we have eaten here. If you don't like to wait then this is not the place for you.
Let's cover time here. We were here 1.5 hours and then talked to the owner for 1/2 an hour after our meal.
Best experience on the mountain, the only thing better is the delicious food. Well worth the wait, quality is hard to find. We have found our favorite place to get away.
I should say something about the food. My wife had shrimp in a pesto cream sauce with erbs and spices.
It is kind of out of place, this restaurant in Snowflake. Easily twice as expensive as any other place, it is only open a few hours each day. The proprietor is a forceful personality and makes it clear that the food takes time. I had a pizza and salad, which isn't enough to judge an Italian restaurant, so next time, I will choose a different dish. Intriguing.
As I said, we weren't in a hurry and had a nice evening.
Most of the customers call in advance. We don't mind waiting and wait we do.
This place will have you coming back for more. The food is just incredible. They make it fresh so there is a wait but it is so worth it.
